Examples

Two ASP examples have been provided to demonstrate the tcpIQ Site Editor. These examples can be found in the c:\program files\tcpiq\HTML Rich Text Area\SiteEditor\example\ directory. You will need to copy these to your web server for them to work and various paths to the server-side include files will need to be set correctly. Also, be sure to have followed the instructions in the Deployment section. If you have not set the permissions correctly on the directory then the examples will not work.

Simple Example

The simple example demonstrates the basic functionality of the tcpIQ Site Editor. A very basic web page will be displayed. If you have logged on then the Edit and Log off buttons will be displayed. Clicking the edit button will allow you to edit the web page and save the changes.

Advanced Example

The advanced example extends the simple example by introducing the Replacement text. It shows how the current date and time and the physical path to the web page's directory can be displayed within the web page.
