tcpIQ Site Editor 1.3

tcpIQ Site Editor is a powerful tool supplementing the HTML Rich Text Area that allows web designers to create web sites that allow the owner to maintain their own content.

If you have created a web site for a client then inevitably you will be contacted to update the content of the pages. This can be frustrating as clients may expect these changes to happen quickly and to be free of charge.

One solution is to educate the client in using an HTML Editor and the deployment of the pages to the web. This too can be disastrous as hyperlinks will break, pages will go missing and the formatting may become amateurish.

The tcpIQ Site Editor solves these problems by allowing an authorised user to edit the content of their site on their site. Simply put, the client will logon and thereafter all pages will show an Edit button. When this button is clicked the tcpIQ HTML Rich Text Area replaces the contents of the page with the HTML Rich Text Area. Once the changes have been made they can press Save and the updates will occur instantly.

Backup management is integrated into the product ensuring that the user's changes can be rolled back to any previous revision of the page.

Also, Replacement Text allows the client to intermix dynamic and static content within the page.
